Again, we are cutting 2 1/2" strips.

Sub Cut these into as many 2.5 x12.5" rectangles as you can. Set these rectangles aside for sashing.

Use the remnants to cut 4 1/2" rectangles.

Additionally you can cut:

Sub cut these dark strips into 2.5" squares (one for each rectangle).

Take 1/2 of the Light Rectangles, place a Dark Square on the end, and sew corner to corner. Use the same technique of drawing the diagonal. Trim and press Dark Triangle up.

Take the remaining Light Rectangles and place a Dark Square on the end and Sew the OTHER direction. Trim and press Dark Triangle up.
