Determine how many blocks you plan to make.
| Small Quilt | 15 blocks |
| Medium Quilt | 30 blocks |
| Large Quilt | 48 blocks |
Cut 2 1/2" strips of your Lightest Light.
| Small | 10 strips | Light |
| Medium | 20 strips | Light |
| Large | 32 strips | Light |
Cut 2 1/2" strips of your Darks.
| Small | 8 strips | Dark |
| Medium | 16 strips | Dark |
| Large | 30 strips | Dark |
Sub cut to make 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares. You will need 8 for each block you ar making. You can get 16 from each 40"strip.
Draw a diagonal line on each square. Position as shown below. Sew on the solid diagonal line. Trim away excess 1/4" from seam as shown by Dotted line.
